Quinceañera Expo

Through this project my group and I planned a Quinceañera. We were required to design a Quinceañera invitation, create a Quinceañera dress out of recyclable materials, perform a Quinceañera dance choreographed by the dance and music directors from each group (i.e. Me), as well as choose companies for each product or service and calculate the expenses involved in our Quinceañera. During this project we learned how to use reflexive verbs or verbs where to person doing the action is also receiving the action. We also took a field trip to La Gran Plaza mall in order to speak with some native spanish speakers and ask questions regarding prices for different items or services relating to a Quinceañera. For our presentation we held a Quinceañera Expo where we performed our original Quinceañera dance and had a fashion show of the different dresses as well as presented our final presentation to outside evaluators. In the fashion show our dress (pictured) won most creative and tied for 1st in the number of points received.
