Throughout this project my group created New Tech merchandise to sell in our "School Store." Every member of my group created a New Tech design and a club or event design using adobe illustrator to put on shirts/merchandise. Along with designing the merchandise, we also had to create the actual business of the school store. To achieve this purpose we created a promotional plan of how we would get people interested in our school store. We also had to determine a price for each item as well as completed a cost analysis spreadsheet. As the accountant, one of my jobs was to fill out this spreadsheet and determine the price of each item. The purpose of this project was to learn how to use adobe illustrator as well as price items, determine a profit margin and learn how to create a promotional plan. We presented our findings and ideas to some of the directors and facilitators at our school so that they would be able to hear some of our ideas and possible implement them.
