Through this project my group and I had to build a city and possion buildings on specific street corners according to different angle pairs. For our streets we were required to have 6 parrallel streets, 3 perpendicular streets and 2 streets that qualify as transversals. Through this project we learned how to write linear functions and how to determine if 2 lines are parrallel, perpencicular or niether using their equations. We also learned about many different types of angle pairs such as alternate exterior angles, alternate interior angles, vertical angles, corresponding angles, complementary angles, and supplementary angles. Lastly, we learned how to calculate the midpoint of a line and the distance of a line as well as how to solve angle problems algebraically. I really enjoyed this project because it allowed me to be create throughout every aspect of it which has never been a common thing to me during math projects.
